At 3:55 pm observation, radar and satellite imagery depicted a cluster of thunderstorms moving across the mentioned areas. This weather is associated with an active surface low pressure over south florida and a deep layered trough in the area.

A severe weather warning is in effect for grand bahama islands and the adjacent waters and cays.

At 10:50 pm observation, radar and satellite imagery showed clusters of heavy showers and thunderstorms associated with a surface low pressure system in the gulf combined with tropical moisture streaming from the gulf of mexico across the northwest bahamas, moving east and northeastwards.
